Help changing settings -REMstar Auto A-Flex

I am visiting my sister in Oregon and she has been using a REMstar Auto A-flex since 2013. Poor thing was unaware that she has a memory card and had never checked the data herself and since she owned the machine outright, no one checks her data! Her minimum pressure is set at 5 and she struggles to get enough air, has headaches, nightmares and severe day time sleepiness. Her RERAs are in the high 60s a night and her average AHI is in the 5's. Her med pressure is generally at 11.5 and her max pressure is about 13.

I read the clinican manual on how to change the settings and it seems very straight forward. However, somehow the round button on the machine is missing, but I can still move the toggle that the button sat on and feel and hear it click, but it will NOT move off of the "therapy" setting on the menu and I need to get it to the "setup" setting before I hold down on that button and ramp button at the same time to enter the clinician menu.

Can anyone help me on this? Does it need to have that button to move throught the settings or am I missing something?

I'm not sure what to tell you about the missing dial. About all I can say is use a pair of pliers or something to turn the "stub" and see if you can get it to go where you need it to.

Thank you for the info. I can turn the stub with my hand without any problem, it just doesn't toggle at all. It will not move off the therapy setting on the menu. I am confident I could change the settings from there--I just can't get "there!"

I believe you have to push the button (stub) down to select the option.

2. Turn the control wheel until the portion of the screen marked "Setup" is highlighted. Push the wheel to bring up the Setup menu.
