Compliance report software for Respironics?

Post by LordHades74 » Sat Dec 16, 2017 10:15 am

Hi everyone,
I am starting a new job on the 2nd of January and I need to get a compliance report printed out so I can get my DOT physical card before I start. I have a Phillips Respironics System One REM star Plus C-Flex. What software is available for me to be able to do this?

To LSAT's very sensible suggestion, I would add:
If you are unfamiliar with SH, carefully look at what data is needed to comply with the reporting demands. Because SH has multiple reporting schemes you may need to build your own report that includes two or more views. The one view I would think superfluous would be the daily view - there is absolutely nothing in that view that the recipient of the report would find informative or welcome - too much information, entirely. On the other hand, the statistics view may be all you need - look at it carefully to determine if there are any required data points missing. Keep in mind, if you use or have used more than one machine during the reporting period, make certain the report includes all usage days so there are no gaps in the days that could give the appearance of non-compliance. This is one very good reason for having all machines used in a single profile rather that multiples. Another consideration would be whether or not you have been downloading data as a regular thing. I don't know specifically how the various machines deal with data on a given card. Do they all keep all the data on the card as an on-going function, or do any erase periodically. It may well be that if you have always had a card in your machine, the first time you inport the card data into SH you will have it all. There are others here who will know a lot more than I about the capabilities of the various machines, SH, or the reporting demands - one hopes they contribute what they can.

Keep in mind that the only "data" you will get from your machine is "hours used". Because, that all it collects. But, if all you need it for is a "compliance report", that should be sufficient.
