Air SEnse 10 leak

Post by mitchellbaum@me.com » Thu Dec 07, 2017 10:53 am

Hi All,

I have an AirSense 10 which works well but it leaks. A fair amount of water accumulates under by it morning. Its not obvious where is comes from. I used to get water in the hose but that is ok since I turned down the humidity. The tanks does not appear to leak. The big gasket doesn't leak when I test it after filling. I suspect some sort of leak or condensation around the exit from the tank to the hose. But, it isn't obvious.
Any one else have this?
Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Mitchell

No.
How old/what kind of hose do you have?
The joint at the end of the hose, between hose and collar is weak, and can tear easily.

How full do you fill the tank and are you certain the surface on which the machine sits is fully level side-side, front-back, and diagonally? When filled to the lip of the opening, the gasket may not prevent some water from seeping out if the base is not level. One might try a new tank and fill to a point midway between the 'full' mark and the mark under it. Also, does the same puddle appear if you fill the tank and let it sit in the machine for the time between uses? IOW, does the machine have to be running for the puddle to emerge?
