CG: I feel like I am doing so well by the numbers but to be honest I am feeling a bit too tired during the day.
I am not sure why.

Testing to see if this works

OK< Good that worked. Now at 3:48 their is a green little line, then at 6:12 a red line and again at 6:15 a green line, 7:00 green and what looks like black at about 7:45

So what are they , I do not see all those colors in the pie chart.

Look at the color coded bars right above the pie chart.
See if the colors for each category correspond to the flagged event. I can't see the image well enough to see the colors on the events graph.
I think that is likely what you are seeing.

The flag at 3:48 is blue. It corresponds to the blue slice (OA) in the pie chart. You can also see the legend to the left of the event flag - OA.

What you are calling red is more of a purple - CA.

Did you open up the Events tab and look at the types and length of each event?

It's good to learn what you are looking at in Sleepyhead, but I hope you are not fretting over a very few short events. (Open up the Events tab and see how long the events actually are.)

The overlooked part of good CPAP therapy:
Good Sleep for CPAPers

- Practice good sleep hygiene (Google it and read several sources; ignore extreme advice.)
- Eat a good diet
- Have a regular, moderate exercise program
- Try to avoid daytime naps
- Practice total abstinence of caffeine including sources like chocolate (sigh)
- Review all medicines, vitamins and supplements you are taking to make sure none are interfering with sleep
- Use the bedroom for sleeping (and sex) only, and make sure the bedroom and bed are comfortable.
- Learn to appropriately handle emotional stress in your life
- Do not listen to your breathing or the sound of the machine as you are falling asleep. (Some people, including me, actually find listening to their breathing and the sound of the machine to be relaxing.)
- Distract your mind by thinking of a pleasant, relaxing activity that you enjoy.
- If you are awakening at night, do not be too concerned. It is actually a normal part of sleep. (It does become a problem though for people who, when they awaken, become frustrated and have difficulty returning to sleep.)
- Use CPAP software, such as the free OSCAR (or the free SleepyHead), to make sure your therapy is optimized
- If you still don't feel or sleep well, make sure you have regular medical checkups to confirm there are no other medical problems

This is a checklist. Some of the things you already do. Some are easy and can be done right away. Others you can work at over time.

Thank you CG,

I am not fretting at all, I understand that my results are pretty good considering I was diagnosed with 97.6 events per hour.
It is just the curiosity in me that I hate when I do not fully understand something.
When you say open up the events graph.... How do I do that?

I see that you are right about the colors in the graph.
As far as "The Oft Overlooked Part of Good CPAP Therapy
that is easier said than done. LOL

Here are last nights results with my mouth taped till I had to cough and pulled off the tape in the middle of night.

Click on the Events tab just below the date. It is not a graph. It's a list of each type that will open to show individual events including the length.
