What happened?

The only way I get in here is to go though the confirmation code way. If I press log in at the top of the page it send me to register. What? And I can only use A Mess (hyphinated) not AMESS to get here. HUH? Yes I really am a mess!

You forgot to log in to your AMESS account.

When you do log in put a check mark by the "keep me logged in" line.

When logged in you don't have to do the captcha thing (confirmation code) with each post.

That is weird because I'm able to log in just fine. If I enter the wrong username/password combination, I get an error stating that ... NOT a prompt to register as you appear to be suggesting.

Try posting a screen shot of your log in page to see if you are being directed to the right page.

As I said when I log in it sends me to register!

When you put in A MESS, the system does not recognize you as an active member and asks you to register. You need to log in as AMESS. Often iy will ask you to login.....A MESS is not the same as AMESS.

If you click on the "Login" button (upper right) ... you should either get logged in properly -- or you will get an error in red stating for you to try again as shown below ...





If on the other hand you click on the "Register Username" button (just to left of "Login" button) ... it will send you to Terms of Agreement page and then to Registration page shown below ...

AMESS, stop doing things so fast and think before you hit enter or submit. Once you think you have done the register thinging right, then stop for a second and take a look again at what you have just done, if its right.. hip hip hurrah... Slow down, baby steps, and it will become second nature.

I don't think she is entering the wrong username (or password) to get to the "Register Username" page .... there is only one way to get to the registration page -- and that is to click on the "Register Username" button which then sends you to the agreement page and then only after clicking the "I Agree" button with terms of use.

I think she is accidentally hitting the Registration button instead of the Login button.
