Anyone here know anything about "Chin-Up strips"?
I've heard they work, but then again, I've heard people say Chin straps work. (I say they don't)
I was just wondering if these things *REALLY* work?

Snoring and mouthbreathing
Vader,
My guess from looking at them is that they will work.
The issues look like being
- the ongoing cost
- just how little they upset the skin on your face
Would be interested to hear from someone who has actually tried one - my guess ? - good.

xPAP and Quattro std mask (plus a pad-a-cheek anti-leak strap)
I've read posts where people said they worked but for not very long, cost and skin irritation seemed to be the issue. They are similar to the BreathRight strips but made in a U shape.
I use a BreathRight strip across my nose every night and the adhesive doesn't seem to bother me. I get 1-2 boxes at Costco every time I go there, they used to cost about $10 a box for 38ea, but I noticed last time they jumped up in price to like $13 a box.

Yeah the cost does seem a bit much.
Now the BreatheRight strips really are the greatest things going. I gotta use them every night. They're a life saver.
Gotta love Costco!

They (ChinUp Strips) would have no effect on me.
Without the Bipap, I can breathe only though my nose and snore all day long.
I use a full face mask as I don't see the point of trying to seal my lips with tape and such.

Just get some and try them. They, sort of, worked for me but I had lots of
trouble with the glue they use. My suggestion, if you order some, also order
some of the solvent pads used to get them off. For me, paper tape (Durapore) works well and comes off easier.

Those solvent pads are usually just rubbing alcohol or mineral oil. Plain mineral oil will remove most adhesives without harming the skin. And it's really cheap!
