Test

Post by GoofyUT » Tue Oct 10, 2006 7:15 pm

So here's what i've just found out:

I tried a new thread (here) that used the name of ONE of the major manufacturers in the subject line, repeated again in the message followed by the word "(test)" and got the "debug" error.

I them tried the exact same thing using the other major manufacturer's name, and got the SAME debug error.

But a thread I placed (and then deleted) earlier using just the word TEST came out fine.

And this one has the name of a model in the subject line, and it went through OK.

Go figure.

Chuck

I've been trying to create a new post for the past hour, and I keep getting that same error message. I didn't mention any brand names....

Was it a post in response to a thread that DID discuss brands, or a new thread?

I know I just joined, so everyone can feel free to doubt my credibility.

The debug mode simply is telling you the insert statement it attempted to complete.

The error itself is "Error in Posting", and it appears on line 382 of the main phBB post page.

What does this mean to you and me: Not a whole lot, anything could have caused this error.

What does this mean to the admins of this forum: Please check your error log to find out what it is in the functions_post.php file that is causing this, did you install a hack/change/enhancement/tool recently?

Until it's fixed I'll have to wait on asking my question

It was a NEW thread, a rather lengthy one at that.
I was looking for an experienced answer to a pressure raising problem.
No brands were mentioned.

From reading the error message, it looks to me like it's running to a problem with the CPAPopedia.

LOL looks like the wrath of that POS company down under has impacted this board and what can be posted.

Remstars are great!
