Duct tape, or xxyzx's favorite, Superglue!

Re: keeping pillows in place
One thing that was suggested a long time ago here--I think by Rested Gal--was using a pantyhose leg. Tie the ends together at the back of your head, bring it up over your head, and then wrap it across the nasal pillows. I use a shoestring with the pillows in my Hybrid mask, I loop it around one of the straps at the back of my headgear, tie a knot, and then bring it over my head and across the nasal pillows. Works great for me with the Hybrid, but don't know how well it works for other pillow-type masks. From what I've read, the pantyhose solution has worked for lots of folks.

Sleep on the floor, leave the pillows on the bed. Good for your back, and your cat won't have to jump on the bed! JimAmess wrote:Does anyone know how to keep the pillows in place when you turn over?

Re: keeping pillows in place
Some can use the pantyhose idea, which is very easy, but wearing mine that tight makes my nose sore.
I keep my headgear very clean (p10 headgear stretches out)
I tie my long hair up so it forms a secure base for the headgear. (Others can wear a buff)
Lastly, my hands are often near my face, where I can capture a sneaky pillow and re-park it.
It is the nightly mask dance--comforting and predictable.

Chunky and Jim--Your ideas on keeping pillows in place gives me a good chuckle. First time I have had one since being on this so called helpful forum. Some one has suggested crazy glue---good one
Frankly I am trying to get into this cpap thing since I am/was getting 68 apeneas/hypoapneas per hr. Stressful as the CPA thing is, when I use it for at least 6 hrs the events go down to 2 to 3. Thats very good. Just need to tolerate it longer till I learn to put up with it. I am going to stop it for a couple days till I get over this cold. aaachoo

I don't think my NICE would register on your scale of true or false! You might have to recalibrate. JimAmess wrote:Goof--u are almost in the catagory of xxyx. Say something useful and nice for a change.
Maybe a critical part is bent or broken.

Re: keeping pillows in place
Not using cpap because of a cold is a very bad idea.
Your body needs good sleep and oxygen to help FIGHT A COLD.
To pause using cpap during an illness only gives the illness the advantage.
I have used Flonase AND a breathe right strip during a nasal disaster--
but I do not skip cpap. EVER. Like Goofproof.

I support Goofproof.
I quite often disagree with his language, politics, etc.
but he is his honest self, and for that, he has my respect.

Never dug a ditch, dug a latrine, or few in Nam. I filled more ditches and built more mountains, and blew up more rock than you can imagine. Operated a CAT 785 Back Dump, for 4 years, 150 Ton of dirt and rock per load 32 loads a shift, built roadways, and reclaimed Surface mined lands.AMESS wrote:Goof--do shut up.
