i would never use a FFM as i need to use that mouth when the machine is going nutzoid with what it is doing and not working with my normal breathng
And the machine answers you? I figured a ASV would be smart enough to fix it's self. My mask is removable, even my FF one. (5 sec max)

Nutzoid, I wasn't aware ASV had that setting. Is it extra or included in the normal price.... Jim

I have had quite a few ok nights. Could be better. Could be worse. Working on it.

But last night, for the second time I had a really awful night. Used the same of what I have been using lately, but again had awful dreams. I must really toss and turn a lot in my dreams. I also know I talk and yell.(and have been known to sing. sheesh) So I had huge leaks all night long. (19. something %)It had to mostly be from my mouth. I woke with dry mouth a few times. Drool mouth at least once. And beep from my machine to tell me the leak went into ut oh territory. (I keep the beep on because I don't think I would even wake up without it.)

I guess I am wondering if this just happens to everyone here and there? I know I am accepting the mask. I even 'like' the extra air. I can manage the aerophagia at this level.

But are you getting the best out of your treatment, likely not. I keep close tabs on my leak level, and do whatever is needed to correct it, even the dreaded FF mask.

In Encore, if over 38 to 40, I go back to the FF mask. Jim

sometimes i have to when the machine gets out of sync with me
or tries to force more air in then i can breathe comfortably

sometimes it just blows my mouth open from the pressure

chin strap would force that air to go somewhere else
aerophagia anyone ?
barotrauma anyone ?

in time you can get used to it an not know you are doing it

i would never use a FFM as i need to use that mouth when the machine is going nutzoid with what it is doing and not working with my normal breathng
You do have your problems don't you.
