Unfortunately the doctors are so ruled by the insurance companies that they can't write their own prescriptions anymore, and I was tired of having sleep study after sleep study, so I bought my own machine. Unfortunately I am unable to tolerate the mask since I am claustrophobic, so I am trying to resell my unit. If anyone knows where I can do this, please let me know. Thank you!

You are responding to an ancient thread (2013).
Your best bet is Craigslist. Your alternative is secondwindcpap.com if your machine has low hours. Ebay does not yet allow machines to be sold there, although they may be stuck with that as Ebay is a CA company and CA actually has a law on the books that restricts resale of cpaps (they call them 'dangerous medical devices' )

Are you aware there are very many masks, different types, some that don't cover your nose, available? In different sizes, with videos that help you get a good fit? While you watch TV to get used them?
You're cutting off your nose to spite your face... we could help with the mask problems - you're not the first to feel claustrophobic by a long shot - but we need the chance to do that if you're willing.

---"dangerous devices", you say.
A blunt instrument, perhaps?
I wonder from what height I would need to drop an S9 Escape for it to be lethal.
Not to worry.

I thought it hilarious myself. Is it enforced? Greyghost hasn't said anything about it and there seems to be plenty of machines on various CA craigslist posting.chunkyfrog wrote:---"dangerous devices", you say.

What will you do to treat your condition? You know, it only gets worse and leads to serious health and life complications.vailgal wrote: I am unable to tolerate the mask
