If you read a few of end-of-alphabet boy's posts, you can see a regular theme of a type of statism over to the totalitarianism side.
Yes, he is anti-profit, anti-business, anti-free markets, anti-choice.

You gotta admit though, he is so ridiculous as to be humorous. I get a laugh out of his "libtard" diatribe.
Let's play a game.. how many instances of misspelling, bad grammar, and incorrect punctuation can you find in his posts for, say a 24 hour period?

so they lobby congress to make sure they can suck money out of medicrap as well as bamacare and real insurance
and congress passes laws to help them in return for donations to get reelected

Libertards aren't Anti Profit, they are about forcing others to pay for what they want! Cost doesn't factor into it, they use Other People"s Money, preferably Credit! Jim

But one who is obviously OUT OF WORK.
One can speculate why, but no stretch of the imagination is necessary.
I would fire his arrogant a$$ in a heartbeat.
Why he is not on the dole, one can only guess.

Not so sure about brilliant, but engineer....well...nah. He won't even register his equipment, just on here to stir up trouble. Its all I can do when I read his ramblings is to bite my tongue...

You don't need a prescription to buy a CPAP in Australia. Anyone can open a CPAP store and sell to whom they like. Health insurance here will generally cover part of the cost (~25%) as long as the seller is in Australia.
Unfortunately it doesn't make them any cheaper.

I did order this from Amazon and just got back into to town to check it out. It came in standard Resmed packaging, was a 0 hour machine, had everything it was supposed to have: ResMed Airsense 10 Autoset, humidifier, slimline hose.
I used it for a one hour nap this afternoon and it worked as it was supposed to. I'll have to buy a sim card (cheap) and I'll probably spring for the Climateline hose. I'm very happy with this purchase - a new one for less than the price of used on Secondwindcpap.
The vendor on Amazon did not request a copy of a prescription. The vendor for the one I got was Sistemma and it was fulfilled by Amazon.

Thanks for this information; really good to know! Although I've never bought medical equipment from Amazon (yet), my husband and I buy a good deal of other things and have never had a bad experience.

Those are good prices. It's also reassuring to hear some members here have had positive experiences so far. Sure, there are product rating on Amazon itself, but I take them with a grain of salt since it was revealed that some reviews on Amazon were from people who got a product for free in return for a so-called unbiased review.
I wish I had know about this before I bought my Dreamstation out of pocket earlier this year. I could have saved quite a bit. I'll certainly be looking there again for consumables and replacements. That said, I can't complain too much about the site sponsor or the place I bought mine, because the support has been top notch.
