The wife and I both use the Swift....no problems.

SOME PEOPLE USE TWO OR THREE MASKS.....WHY?

I understand a head cold requiring a FF mask, but other than that?

I have three or four other masks, but usually try them in the day time....so I can really sleep at night. My wife is the trooper, she put that Swift on the first night and slept right thru. Took me a few days to get used to it.

I also have a medical condition that keeps me from using the FF mask, so if I ever have to use it....I will probably be up all night. ugh.

Installing Software is like pushing a rope uphill.
I have Encore Pro 1.8.65 but could not find it listed
under software.

I LOVE the SV.

The Swift was a winner for me, even at 18 cm.

Over 20 years in treatment...
Humidified REMstar Plus at 18 cm
Mirage Swift Nasal Pillow System....A Winner!

Put it on and never looked back! On # 8 now! Agree with Chuck's very favorable opinion of the SWIFT.

All the best,

Are there 10 more swift users out there that haven't voted yet?

My first choice mask; it's light and (almost) stays put. I still have a sore nose by morning, though.

I use the Swift with good results but I need to tape since a mouth breather. Without the tape, for me, it would be a failure but it is light and as a back sleeper I am fine with it insofar as leaks are concerned. To summarize:

Swift.......no taping = failure
Swift...with taping = success

Ditto: back to the Swift with tape - always dependable.

As a stomach sleeper, I find the Swift leaks copiously on the side to which the hose connector is on. I tried the fix to try and vent the hose across the top with the velcro strip, but that didn't work either. If Resmed could come up with a top hose connection, like the Aura, it might work for me.

I voted success! Here are my thoughts:
I like it because it is lightweight. I tried the CL2, but found it way too heavy for me. I even tried the CL2 again, 3 months later, and felt the same way. I tend to have neck issues, so a lightweight mask for me is better tolerated.

I spend most of my night on my back, and find that it stays in place. BUT, when I roll on my side, it slides slightly out of position and begins to leak.
I found that if I shift my pillow towards the back of my head, then it stays in place a bit better. I also poligrip my lips, so no mouth leaks for me.

After 4 months of use, the straps are starting to stretch out...needing to make it tighter. I'll be ordering a new one soon.

I couldn't use the Swift, but only because of my nose. I still use the Swift headgear (comfy) , however, with the ComfortCurve nasal interface.

It is the only mask I have used and it's not perfect, but I like it. It works for me. I think the Swift II coming out in the Spring will be a huge advancement and will put the Swift back on top of the nasal pillow segment. My strategy is to get a Hybrid this Winter when I get a new mask, because I know a will get a couple of head colds during the season. Then in the Spring, when it time for another new mask, I will get one of the new Swift II's.

I have the Comfort Select over the nose, the Swift and the CL2. I use the swift every night because I can't get either of the other two to seal reliably. I haven't tried RGs added strap for the CL2 yet.

I pulled out the Swift that I had been given early on in my CPAP therapy about a month ago to give it another try. As much as I liked my ComfortCurve, I wasn't able to make it work for me while side sleeping and I was getting a stiff back from sleeping in one position all night long.

My initial anxiety and sense of being unable to exhale with the Swift were nowhere to be seen on the second time around and I have been using it consistently since I can sleep on my side without any apparent leaks.

I LOVE IT!

The Swift has been very successful for me. It has enabled my 8 months of everyday/8hr+ compliance. It is my everday interface switched out only for the Hybrid when I have congestion problems or for the Headrest each time I try to make it work. Occasionally, but not for a long time now, I try a nasal interface like the Activa etc. but they aren't nearly as comfortable for me.

I am an active side sleeper and either tape my mouth or use Poligrip strips. The Swift feels featherweight and non-claustrophobic to me. I manage headgear marking with padacheeks. Every so often it seems to freak out and leak but then I just swap to a different barrel (I have three I rotate).

I do not understand why mouth breathers that do not manage that problem with tape, poligrip or chin straps report the Swift uniquely as a failure. Any nasal interface, pillow or otherwise, would be a failure for them.
