Try not to laugh...
Ok, this may be funny/gross so I apologize on the front end...When I go to bed at night I start out on my back (on 17cm pressure) then, when I turn on my side all that air in my stomach creates a need to burp - but with that much pressure going down my throat I'm not able to force any air back up. I hate taking off the mask to do that - but after a while it gets kinda uncomfortable....anybody else experience this???
At first I used to wake with pains in my stomach from all the air,now It's just in the morning that I need to burp. I don't know why the improvement but I'll take it.
As far as burping against the pressure I find it almost impossible so instead of disturbing my mask by taking it off all I do is pop the hose off burp with the mask still on then reconnect the hose.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body totally worn out and screaming,WOO HOO what a ride!
No laughs from me-it isn't funny-one weekend I was using my old mask while traveling and I was miserable in the morning from swallowing air-Would have loved being able to belch. I was considering checking into the ER to get them to do an EKG just to make sure it wasn't cardiac-but finally was able to get rid of it. One mask irritates my sinuses and feels like it is inflating my head-the other aerophagia and feels like my body is inflating.
