Hello,
I'm new. This is my my second post here. I would like to ask if any members here are users of the Resmed Power Source 2 kit for the Airsource 10. I searched for reviews, but there are not a lot that I could find. I know its expensive, but other than that is it a quality device that can at least last for 7-8 hours with no hum running?
Thanks for sharing your experiences.
Take care,
C
Resmed Power station 2 - good to go?
Re: Resmed Power station 2 - good to go?
likely there's little discussion about it because you can build a better (though less portable) battery backup for a tiny fraction of the costCowboyup wrote:Hello,

Thank you palerider. How do I find out more about that setup?

"is it a quality device?" Resmed must not think so for the length of warranty they give!

short warranties are, unfortunately, the norm for batteries.hobbs wrote:"is it a quality device?" Resmed must not think so for the length of warranty they give!

Re: Resmed Power station 2 - good to go?
I have one. The state I live is having some electricity reliability issues due to the move to renewable energy.
I keep it charged and ready for any power outage. So far I have used it once, for just under 2 hours. As the blackout occurred in the middle of the night and I didn't expect the outage to be too long, I just connected it without changing my humidity (auto) or tube temperature (28c). It would have run out of juice within another half an hour or so of the lights coming back on.
I believe they will run all night with the humidity and heated hose off.
It is a bit of a pain, as there is no way to have it set to automatically come on if the power fails. The connection is pretty simple though, just a cord from the battery to the 24v input of the machine.
I'm glad I have it. It is no fun trying to stay awake waiting for the mains power to come back on.
