I'd like to think that "real" doctors actually went to school somewhere.
--but I am leery of the sheepskins issued by tropical island "schools".

Yes, but even the big USA med schools tend to focus on rote learning and not much independent scientific thought. During discussions with most of my doctors, a lot of them don't have a good grasp of scientific issues.

That's not as bad as it sounds. An awful lot of the routine clinical medicine is routine rote activities, with a limited amount of figuring out when something is different and then doing further investigation or passing the patient on to an expert. The trick is to find one who recognizes and acknowledges his own ignorance.

Alkaline water has already lowered my blood glucose levels and stopped GERD! These comedians (Ms Frogger and the pig) are talking about something they know nothing about! Those of you that think Kangen Water is a scam should really do the proper research. Kangen Water is Electrically Reduced Water so try googling ERW and its health benefits on Pubmed or google scholar.
