My ResMed Ahi reading is showing 0
My ResMed Ahi reading is showing 0
My ResMed S9 is showing a daily reading of 0 Ahi! The daily hours do show. Now I know my Ahi couldn't be 0. So is something wrong with my machine or set wrong? It started doing this a few months back. Thanks.
Re: My ResMed Ahi reading is showing 0
When was the last time the machine was unplugged for a couple of minutes and then plugged back in?
AHI being stuck on 0.0 has been reported several times (and I have experienced it on my S9 as well) and it's usually resolved easily by unplugging the machine and then plugging it back in to the wall socket after a couple of minutes.
This forces the machines internal software to reboot...sort of like when we have to reboot the computer to clean out the cobwebs.

Good idea to pull out the plug once per week for a few minutes, even if not experiencing these problems.
Maybe you even do have an AHI of zero. I had zero the night before last and twice the previous month.

Useless information.......Mine has been plugged in for almost 3 years without a problem. IF you have a problem this may be a way to fix it.D.H. wrote:Good idea to pull out the plug once per week for a few minutes, even if not experiencing these problems.

You've never traveled? You've never had a power outage? You did not have to unplug the machine for the painters, wallpaperers, electricians, etc.? For three years?
Re: My ResMed Ahi reading is showing 0
Resmed want you to see an AHI of 0 and the super smiley face each morning so that you continue to buy their machines util you die. I'm waiting for the dancing smiley when the leak rate is zero also

Thanks to the serious person that suggested I unplug my S9 and plug it back in. My Ahi is now reading fine. When all else fails--reboot. I should know that!
