Any tips to lower the AHI
ThanksPugsy wrote:Next time hide the calendar so we can see the total AHI without having to add anything together and machine information is shown. No need to redo these though.
Also...don't need all the various graphs. Just do the basics
Events
Flow rate
Pressure
Leak
Flow limitation graph if using a ResMed machine and it looks very active.
What makes you think your AHI needs to be lower?
I rarely feel rested
It's 2.62 on this night which is pretty darn good and 0.52 of that is central that we can't do anything about (and it's not bad enough to need to do anything) with your machine.
So another machine can help central apneia ?
But if you just have to try to reduce it....a little more minimum pressure should do the trick.
Ahh...the old "I don't feel the good numbers" thing.I rarely feel rested
in all fairness, if my ahi is over 2, I don't feel as good as I do when it's under.Pugsy wrote:Ahh...the old "I don't feel the good numbers" thing.... There's so much more to feeling better than just the AHI.I rarely feel rested
I know and you aren't alone.palerider wrote:in all fairness, if my ahi is over 2, I don't feel as good as I do when it's under.
I blame your aliens.Pugsy wrote:My absolute best "day" in terms of how I felt early in my therapy was following a night with AHI of 10.2....go figure that one.
As good of an excuse as any. I thought for sure after having that day that my AHI just HAD to be 0.0. Back then I waited til evening to check stats so that I wouldn't have how I felt clouded by the numbers..palerider wrote:I blame your aliens.
