you missed a good chance to educate about mask linerslibrary lady wrote: If your mask is the right size, seated properly on your face and your headgear is properly adjusted, your mask should stay put no matter what movements you make. I don't think there are many people on this entire planet who stay in one position when they are in bed, either sleeping or awake.
It will take some time, but eventually you'll adjust. I recall sometimes waking up during my first months to find the mask on the floor with no recollection of taking it off... I think that's part of the initial adjustment to this thing called CPAP. Good Luck, and come back as often as you need to with questions. We are all here to help you, just as we were helped by others in the beginning.

Totally agree, new folks need time to analyze and determine best options for masks.
It is not made clear from DMEs and Sleep Docs how to try a variety of masks and make a choice without paying a heavy price.

Because I've been living with my nose for almost 60 years and I know it well. Why are you using a full face mask in the first place?
I have a Pad A Cheek liner for my F10.you missed a good chance to educate about mask liners
Last night was much better. Still late to bed, but so, so tired!! Nodding off at work yesterday, so I took off a bit early and went home to take a nap before church. Got home, finished out the day's business, and went to bed. One thing I haven't been doing lately is washing my face. Did that, put the mask on, found my spot on the pillow, and eventually drifted off. Woke up feeling pretty good this morning.
I read several blog and wiki items yesterday. I understand I'm in the "get used to this" phase. If I moved to a house next to the freeway, I'd have to learn to sleep with that. Well, I moved my face next to a CPAP mask, and I have to get used to it. It'll come. Eventually. Just gotta press on until it happens.
