Called the DME to let them know I was still snoring, well wife says I was They said my mask was leaking, ( another new mask starting tonight) and I need pressure increased.....really???!!!!! lol!
anyways, they increased it from 6.4 to 7. Here are last nights results with an increase but same mask as before. Anyone want to go over these with me Hope I can learn a little from this. I still need to sit down and read the how to read the chart in detail as soon as I can but for now does this seem to be a more effective therapy? Thx in advance!

No snores noted by the machine (assuming that machine does sense snoring - others can chime in on that). No obstructive or central apneas, and just a few hypopneas and RERA events. Leaks are in good shape. l'd say that's about as good as it gets.

Great report...minimum leaks...minimum snores...negligible apnea events. Personally, I would not change anything.

Well...without seeing the report that caused the DME to do something I don't know if this one is "better" or not but it looks pretty darn good to me too.
I agree with the others.....looks darn good and I also wouldn't change anything.
When you have time go over the SleepyHead tutorial I have in the announcements section and in the very first post I made in that tutorial there is also a link to RobySue's SleepyHead tutorial...here's is better written than mine. I tend to ramble sometimes.
Just concentrate on the basics for now. If you take care of the basics the rest of the stuff falls into line and you don't really have to worry about them.
Basics...understand the AHI and what your leak report is telling you.
For you with the ResMed machine...your large leak territory is up around 24 L/min. Up to that point the machine can deal with any leaks quite easily and effectively and as long as they don't wake you up I wouldn't give them a second thought.
Once you go past 24 L/min things start getting a bit iffy in terms of the machine's ability to compensate for the leaks and the further you go the iffier it gets. It doesn't all go immediately in the toilet at 25 L/min though. From my own personal experience with a ResMed machine I found that leaks up to 30 L/min the machine handled them well enough and I could trust the data. Between 30 and 35 L/min the machine started having some trouble naming events and I started seeing a few more than normal and they were called "unknown apneas" because the machine was having trouble identifying them.
Over 35 L/min and all bets are off...I saw big blank spots where just before I was seeing clusters of apneas of some sort so I assume the machine couldn't sense them. Leaks over 40 L/min the machine might even turn itself off if you have SmartStart turned on because it can't even sense you are attached.
You never even hit 24 L/min....you leaks were minimal and well within the machine's ability to compensate.
Unless leaks wake you up...I wouldn't worry about them.
Even if you do hit large leak territory every now and then for brief periods of time...only the time in large leak is affected and making the data questionable. Example...if you spend 15 minutes out of a 7 hour night in large leak...the impact of that 15 minutes is negligible in terms of overall data results.
Your AHI is quite low. While 0.0 AHI is nice to see so that we can break our arms patting ourselves on the back ....they are really an unrealistic goal. Even people who don't meet the diagnosis criteria for an OSA diagnosis will have some sort of apnea event every now and then.
So...AHI is nice and low....leaks are well below large leak territory...no snores to speak of....all in all a very good report at least on paper.
I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.

This is a pretty good report. It's not zero, but it's probably as close as most of us get.
I say don't change anything!

Compared to your Feb.19 shot the leaks are much better. The other screen shots didn't have many leaks, so I don't know if that was an off night or if you had other nights with large leaks.
This last shot looks better and your events have decreased so hopefully good sleep is ahead for both you and your wife.
Here is the link to your other thread so others have your other shots.
