gurgling noises - mask related?

yeah, for me, I had to put the machine on a heavy piece of dense foam under my bed. The heavy foam prevented noise from resonating on the hardwood floor, and being on the floor under the bed the noise is a lot less noticeable. Luckily our bed is high off the floor so plenty of room. No way for 'stuff' to back up the pipes two feet to my face. I haven' t been able to use the humidifier often, but didn't get a gurgling when I did.
