SmartCode problem with Devilbiss Intellipap

Post by GreenEnvy22 » Thu Nov 24, 2016 7:29 pm

Hi all,
I have a Devilbiss Intellipap DV54 autoadjust machine. I've had it about 2 years. I just use it in CPAP mode currently. It's been working great until recently.

About a month ago, smartcodes stopped working for me. Whenever I go look at the previous nights code, it's just FFFF-FFF-FC4Z
This is not a real code.

I've tried unplugging power, and letting it sit for 12 hours, but it still isn't recording. Otherwise it's working fine.

Any thoughts on what I can do? Any master reset that can be done? I've gone into the clinic menu but didn't find anything.

DeVilbiss claims a 3-year warranty on that machine in North America. Can you get in touch with your DME?

If they have to take it in, insist on a loaner at no charge.

Good luck.

BTW, Here are contact numbers at DeVilbiss tech support - http://www.drivemedical.com/contact-us/

You would probably do better to call them before contacting the DME.

I have an Intellipap BiLevel DV-55 that developed a related problem with the Codes after about two years of service. After some assistance from the Devilbiss Rep who is a member of this forum, my local DME returned it to DeVilbiss and the factory shop corrected the problems under warranty, and even paid the shipping charges both ways. It was gone maybe three weeks, but I was able to use my old backup Respironics BiPAP and was well protected while the DeVilbiss was away. I was annoyed by the failure, but I was pleasantly impressed by the DeVilbiss response.
