My husband has been a Cubs fan all his life and a big fan. He's actually been subdued....afraid to get too excited for getting his hopes dashed and all that.
Whoever wins...it has been a good hard fought Series and not a 4/0 blow out. Both teams have every right to be proud.
Me...I will be busy today...voodoo dolls, rain dances, new spells, new witch's brew mix, fresh curses on some Cleveland pitchers.........I gotta do my part.
I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.

Yea....Cubbies.
They pulled it off.
It was a nail biter there at the last.
I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.

What a game! I'm not a huge sports fan, but the way I was jumping around you'd think I was. Congrats Cubs!

I can relate. Oh boy can I relate. I was so worried throughout the series that I just could not bring myself to *watch* any of it live. Read about all the games after the fact.
And I "cheated" just a wee little bit last night: I clicked on the Washington Post sports pages around 12:00 to find out about the rain delay. And then the fact that the game went into the 10 inning. And I was *sure* I'd brought the Curse of the Billy Goat back by jinxing them. I was soooo relieved when I later clicked on the sports page and saw that they'd won the game.

I don't think we will ever see another sports contest like that in our lifetime.
I can't say if it was worth the wait but it was certainly spectacular.
God Bless the Cubbies AND their fans.
It is just too bad that someone has to loose sometimes
the World Series and Superbowl always seem that way to me.
It is always the very best teams competing one last time

Does this mean we can't beat up on the Cubs anymore? As in "your team sucks more than the Cubs".
Well, all being said... congrats for a great series and an exciting victory for the Cubs (and I was born in Ohio).
I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
