Mask making teeth loose

I use an Innomed Hybrid mask. Have used that model for many years. Recently, I've noticed my lower incisors move back and forth. I tried an Optilife nasal mask. I lose air (and saliva) creating a wet mess every morning. I have tried to find a happy medium of mask adjustments to avoid air leaks without pressing on my teeth.

Suggestions?

Does nasal congestion issues cause the mouth opening leak and drool issues or are they a by product of habit?

This is a tough one. I am trying to think of a full face mask that doesn't apply some sort of something to the lower jaw/teeth area and I am coming up empty.

Hi,
I was having issues with the F10 full face mask. Leaks made me tighten it more which led to lower jaw pain. Finally I decided to order the Amara View from CPAP.com. I have had it about 3 weeks and am experiencing none of the leaks or the pain. There was free return insurance which made me feel better about trying it. it's not going back, though, because I am sleeping great every night and SH shows that I have no leaks where I was having an hour to almost half the night before.

Also, I am not dozing off in the evenings anymore which started happening again as the mask issues got worse. There is something about the shape of the mask that keeps my lower jaw from dropping down below it if my mouth should open, which was also an issue with the F10 for me. I tried different things to deal with that but the collar was too hot for me to use it long term so eventually I abandoned it. Now, I have no more waking up with dry mouth either using the View. Hope you get it all straightened out soon

My only thought was masks with the chin cup.
Some people cut that part off the Hybrid.
Did you do that?

Will try cutting the chin cup. But it seems to me the cup doesn't press the lower gum at all.

I'm tweaking the straps to get minimal gum pressure without leaks.

I just completed a successful gum graft at my lower front teeth because the tooth roots were beginning to be exposed. No gum disease. I attribute it to many many years on a Quattro FFM. Switched to a Respironics Wisp NM. Doubtful I will have anymore lower gum issues. I'am sure there is no research on the effects of prolonged FFM use on lower gums or teeth. But, deductively, if you are applying steady pressure on your lower gums for many years, what would you think?.
