Dental problems

After several years of CPAP noticed increasing dental problems. Dentist prescribed chlorhexidine prescription mouthwash before sleep. Works well, no more sweet tooth in morning.

Why do you assume dental problems are Cpap related? Enjoy your mouthwash...

It can also cause color changes to the teeth, need to keep an eye on that.

I ended up with some. I finally figured out it was a habit of clenching that I formed when I was having FFM leak problems around the mouth. Once I fixed the mask problem the habit stayed with me for a while. It caused sensitive teeth. Since all but 4 of my teeth have crowns and half have root canals it takes a lot to make them sensitive. They look pretty though....

I also had some TMJ problems from the CPAP pillow pushing my lower jaw slightly to the left when I slept on my side. Changing to a buckwheat pillow has improved that.

Inherited soft teeth. I've kept my dentist and endodontist happy and well paid for years.
