To answer your questions, I felt agitated on the 3000IU dose.

I have been trying the strategy of splitting the dose today to see what happens. Took a vitamin pill with 1000IU of in the am. Just took a 400IU vitamin D pill and depending on how the evening goes, may take another 400IU.

Yup, I took the 3000 IU dose with fats throughout the day. Will continue to do that with a lower dose.

Reluctant to sun bathe due to concern about getting melanoma. Skin cancer runs in my family.

Basically, it is going to be alot of trial and error to optimize my dose while minimizing side effects. I am very sensitive to supplements and have to proceed very carefully.

Skin cancer runs in everybody's family. So long as you avoid getting "sun burned", your risk is no greater than anyone else .... which is why the best time to get your sun is early AM and late PM when solar angle is less than 30 to 40 degrees from horizon. In fact, many melanomas manifest where the sun never shines -- no not there ... I mean like the bottom of the feet (I've had a couple of suspicious moles removed from the bottom of my feet and I assure you I've never sun bathed with my feet to the sky). So the sun causes skin cancer model is not 100% proven IMO.

Anyway, sun bathing can boost your D significantly thus reducing your side effects to supplementation.
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.
