Obviously you are not finding this here....Why not go somewhere else?seawolf wrote:Previous user's death had nothing to do with use of the machine, so why would I consider it? As I previously stated, I knew nothing about the SoClean device other than what the previous user had used it for, and this forum discussion has been quite successful in providing nothing more than rabid, unsubstantiated "facts" on its purported ineffectiveness. I'm looking for peer reviewed research on the machine itself, or the principle upon which it is based --- positive or negative results, it makes no difference to me. If you, or anyone "in the industry" can provide references to such FACTS, that would be greatly appreciated.chunkyfrog wrote:Condolences for your loss; but considering the fate of the former user, why did it occur to you to use that filthy machine?

Re: So Clean
Just go to THEIR site, and accept whatever garbage they feed you.
I'm fine with you doing that.
A few people here have some experience with the technology, and some with the device itself.
We learn from mistakes, not always our own--which is the best situation.

I have no problem telling you what my degree is in, Economics. Now, why are you being an asshole making fun of the field I have chosen to work in? Do you feel selling equipment that keeps the employees doing the work and the patients being operated on safe somehow below your stature in life? Or perhaps you are just a shill for NoClean who thinks by trying to ridicule me people will buy your worthless product that does not clean?seawolf wrote:seawolf wrote: And what "industry" would that be?I bet you had to go to school a long time to become such a knowledgeable expert in the science of sterilization and disinfection. Re: So Clean
Obviously my degree in economics has nothing to do with sterilization and disinfection. I started with this company as a service technician; so I know the machines inside and out. When I got my degree I moved into the sales department and have been there for more than 20 years. Although not required, I went through the courses required for certification of the employees who work in Sterile Processing, the certification is called CSPDT "Certified Supply, Processing and Distribution Technician" so I am a certified SPD Technician although I work for one of the 3 companies who provide the equipment to sterilize and disinfect, I do not work in a SPD department. I will put my knowledge of a hospital sterilizer costing containing100K worth of technology up against your knowledge of your pea shooter any day.seawolf wrote:Apparently the resident expert in the "industry" has no credentials to share that would help to support his claim of "facts." A Professional Firearms Instructor, had been taught not to look in the barrel when he pulls the trigger. He's also suppose to put down his beer, before saying watch this! Re: So Clean
The So Clean cleans so well they sell you an 8 ounce bottle of prewash for $18 so you can wash your equipment before the So Clean cleaner cleans it. If I have to wash my equipment first, why do I need to run it through the So Clean to get it clean? If it sterilizes, the mask wont stay sterile for very long. As soon as you pick it up and place it on your face, it is covered with the germs from your hands and face again. Your bedroom bay be clean, but it is not sterile.
