I went in for my first follow up appointment with my sleep doctor since I got the machine/sleep study, He has had the DME set the pressures twice remotely. I gave them a shot then moved them them back into APAP.
We sat down and he looked at the Encore Pro number and mentioned the running average as being a bit high. I pulled out the SH daily's from the last 2 months and he agreed that the trend is definitely improving based on my changes. His comment, "you have the data and are are obviously good at analyzing it. Keep it up and I'll see you in a year unless you run into a problem.
I like cooperative doctors.

You won't get many a doctor making that comment in my opinion. You are on the right track, you are your own therapist and good luck.

Re: A reasonable doctor
My DME became reasonable when they made the mistake of telling me it is against the law for me to change my own settings and I set them straight and asked if they wanted to continue providing my supplies.
They had spoken with my Dr. about my attitude so he was ready; I walked into my first appointment with SH charts from the CPAP he set me on of 8 and the greatly improved results of my changing it to 8 to 14. He looked at my charts and suggested I change the bottom number to 11 since I don't spend much time below it and since I touch 14 a bit, might want to raise it to 15 , see you in a year unless you have problems. Note, he didn't suggest the DME change it, he "suggested" I change it.
