Testing a new mask

Post by TimWK » Tue Aug 09, 2016 4:28 pm

Does anyone know of a DME or manufacture that allows you to test a new mask? I am interested in trying the AirFit™ N10 Nasal CPAP Mask with Headgear. I contacted my DME and they said I had to buy it and if I didn't like it it was mine.
In the past maybe 3 years ago my DME would allow testing and take them back if they didn't work out.
Thanks in advance.

Best Regards

The manufacturers always exchange masks returned by a DME. Some DMEs are very good about allowing exchanges and some don't want the bother of sending back masks. My local DME has always allowed me to try new masks...she said that when the rep comes in, he gives her credit and she donates the masks.

Right now, our forum sponsor, cpap.com is offering the Airfit N10 mask with free return insurance. You can purchase the mask, try it and if it doesn't work for you, you can return it for a refund.
