Apparently you don't express yourself well.
or, some people have comprehension problems.

Somehow or other I have my doubts that anyone would/could ever say that you had problems expressing yourself clearly. I always pretty much know exactly what you mean.

Anyway...when I gave Dream Mapper a brief trial it didn't report disconnects but that was a long, long time ago and pre DreamStation for sure. It's very possible that the disconnects reported now are something new and reflect simply how many sessions are involved and 1 reported disconnect would then reflect one session with no power interruptions during the night. If I ever get my hands on a DreamStation I will hold my nose and give DreamMapper a try just to check it out for sure. Then quickly remove DreamMapper...it sort of had a mind of its own on my computer and I don't like it when programs do things all by themselves without my being the cause of what it is doing.

probably best to keep such things on a short leash, you never know what they're up to

You'll all have to excuse me, but I can't seem to understand what you're trying to get across here. I constantly have a teenager, two preteens, and a toddler all needing something that only I could possibly provide them, ALL the time! I don't get much time to myself, even when one DIDN'T just get their tonsils out recently...So I am having even more trouble with non- toddler-friendly language, lol! Sorry I can't be any more helpful. If you can't help any more than you have, I certainly understand THAT, you have tried, after all!

I don't know whom your latest post is meant for, but I suggest that worrying about a false disconnect in the report should be the lowest of priorities for you.

I had a (brief) moment of quiet, and got curious. This board (as far as I am concerned) is for information. None of it is a priority. If I'm curious about something, I figured this would be the most likely place to get an intelligent answer that can help me gain understanding. I do see some of that, but I also am seeing an awful lot of responses that convey nothing but a smug, "I'm smarter than you, and decided you don't deserve that knowledge" type attitude from a bunch of overgrown teenagers. Rest assured, none of you here are important to me. I asked a question. Your ideas about deciding what to tell me, and not to, do not matter. I will simply ask someone else, somewhere else. I will gain the knowledge I am looking for. And to the one who thinks they have one clue what is going on enough to tell someone what their priorities ought to be, kiss my butt! You will never see another post by me. You ridiculous, childish, egotistical morons have less self control than my toddler! I will not ever come on here again. Not a whole lot of "helping" going on here. Only criticizing, and insulting.
