SleepyHead Data for review

Post by SmokeChaser426 » Sun Jul 24, 2016 2:38 pm

Hello,
I would like some feedback on my SleepyHead Data. I hope I finally got the proper screenshot and data in order.
On another note,
Everyone should get the opportunity to visit Costa Rica, I saw a river full of 10 to 18 foot Crocodiles swimming in the wild, had White Face monkeys climb on me while feeding them bananas while in a boat floating through the Mangrove coves, caught and released 3 Sailfish over 119 inches and watched the most beautiful Butterflies everywhere. Peace and Beauty. Just wanted to say...

Thank you,

My suggestion would be to bring your minimum pressure up a bit...maybe to 6.5 or 7.0. That may eliminate a few OAs. What you haven't told us is how you feel after a full nights sleep.

Looks pretty darn good.
I see 3 breaks in therapy...the first one shortly after putting the mask on...any idea as to why the wake ups and breaks in therapy and were there others that you didn't turn the machine off?

7 or 7.6 I'd say.

Thanks,
I will have to be more dedicated to my sleep log. Don't know what I did or do. I feel a bit better now than the first 5 or 6 weeks of therapy. I had my Pulmonary Dr. get me a script for helping me stay awake, gave me Nuvigil. Took it once and was thinking about the side effects and decided to be tired until the fog lifts. Before the machine I was awake from 7:30 am to 11 pm, no naps, never tired lots of energy. But I am a shallow breather and was having 40+ events an hour. Oxygen got down to 68%. DOT Dr. had me take a home sleep study and that's when the issues came to light. 100% compliant since May 24th and averaging over 8 hours a night. Took my machine on vacation and got a lot of grief from people saying that I could take time off and still be compliant. I am used to the routine, didn't want to make any changes.
Now I will make some changes with bumping up the low pressure. Will I be having to bump my Ramp up time? I have it set at 5 minutes now.
I will go for a week or so before sending next data.

My marine biol. sis-in-law was working off a boat in CR and met her marine biol. now-prof. husband there... and still hasn't stopped raving about what a great place it is... I'm so jealous!

Tried my first night at low pressure set at 7, also switched Ramp up to 10 minutes from 5.
Had over 9 hours on the machine, sluggish most of the day. Exhaling seemed to be more difficult but that could be in my head because I am
doing something different.
Pugsy, thanks for the link to adjust pressure settings on my machine.
Palerider, thanks for the link to help me organize my graph data for review.
I go see my Pulmonary Dr. August 2nd. Going to print out a few graphs, does anyone know which ones he would be interested in?
I could just print the ones that are usually requested on site.

if you can take in a notebook, that'd be great, along with your sd card.

otherwise, ... I dunno what your doc might like to see.

It's unlikely your doctor will even know that Sleepyhead exists.
Take your SD card...he may have ResScan and want to use it.
