The visuals of your device aren't very appealing, what with the main bulk of the device situated on the most vulnerable part of a CPAP user's anatomy, that is, the nose area. No humidifier option is generally a big turnoff around here. Also, any machine vibration would be transferred to the user's forehead and possibly cheekbones, not helpful for a good night's sleep, or so I would guess... BTW, there will always be some vibration from a motor and associated pressure variables.

We want to clarify the fact that in our CPAP machine there will be no need to use an humidifier in normal conditions. We use the exhaled air to recover the necessary humidity. No exhalation valve is needed, all the flow follows the same path.
By the way, you are right about the problem of vibration transmission. We thought about that, and we are going to install an Active Noise Controlling System which will cancel vibration as well as reducing the acoustic problem associated.

We are designing and producing a device that fits as much as possible your needs. Feedback is very useful for us.

Can you elaborate more, explain more about those please? Why no valve is needed, why exhaled air is enough humidity?

If the mask is shallow enough, there may be little-to-no danger of rebreathing exhaled air in such a tubeless system. Once you eliminate venting, then there is little about PAP itself that would dry you out. It seems to me that natural condensation from the difference between airway air and ambient air could even be utilized by the design to boost humidity.

In theory, of course. I am no engineer. I don't even like trains.

One way to wrap one's head around (no pun intended--oh, wait, that isn't a pun, never mind) what they apparently are trying to do is to think of the gadget as being sort of halfway between using a PAP blower and using Provent. Provent doesn't require venting because without a hose and deep mask, breathing itself is venting.

Similar, but without the hose and distance. And this one (if they ever get it off the side table, oops, I mean, ground) will look just a little sillier.

Once they get the prototype small enough to fit INSIDE the nose, I might be ready to invest.

Ergonomically the transend is better design then hanging it off the nose. It is in the centre of the head. This new one will probably cause all sorts of neck and TMJ issues.

May depend on eventual size and weight of the final product (if there ever is one). But I agree 100% that this proposed product appears to be a "solution" in search of an actual problem to solve.

All of this has motivated me to reexamine some of my earlier ideas for inventions to see if I can get funding.

One was a line of clothing made out of steam. I was thinking of calling it VaporWear. (Rats, I see that name is already taken.)

Then there was the pants with the belt loops on the inside next to one's skivvies to prevent the annoyance of constantly getting your belt loops snagged when walking by those new handle-shaped doorknobs.

And then there was the wallet made out of Velcro so I could just stick it to the front of my belly; that way I will never damage my shoulder by having to reach aaaaallllll the way back to my back pocket for it.

Oh, and I forgot about the shoes that you can hang from your knees when you're not using them (the shoes, not your knees) so that they'll be handy once you're ready to sit down and put the shoes back on your feet.

It's completely inconceivable to me why the Home Shopping Network has stopped taking my calls proposing new products.

If the claim wasn't under a bold headline that says: "CHILDREN WITH ATTENTION DEFICIT DISORDER (ADHD)" I'd buy that.

If they just had the part about academic performance I'd be fine with it and agree with it.

And I'll cool it. As I said this is the one area that I know I am thin skinned about. I've seen parents almost ruin themselves financially chasing any number of bogus cures/treatments in the support groups over the past 20+ years.
