if he were logged in, it'd have a signup date, and a number of posts, and a gender, even if he hadn't bothered to select anything.... like yours does. and the name would be in bold.

Some forums only allow members to post. This one is unusual, as guests are allowed to post.
"Steve" is a guest.
Once he chooses a username, sets a password, and signs in, he will be able to set his profile,
and send and receive private messages; as well as being able to post links and images.
Otherwise, he is just a stranger.
Edit: only members can edit their posts, (in case our spellcheck makes us look stupid.).

Many here are unsure or planning a change, to what that's what they are unsure of. jim

Thanks Dani for the helpful advice,
Everytime I post on this forum I do put my username in and password so I thought I had registered. I hadn't had this problem on other forums. I have just updated my profile so hopefully now I have done everything correct.
Thanks again, have a good day
Cheers
Steve.

Look, I have a pink F now. Think I'll keep it. Maybe I'll even find a nice avatar soon.

Hi,
Yes at last. I have officially joined after all that confusion.
Had a good sleep last night with the dreamstation CPAP machine, I bought a fan to help mask any noise and it seemed to work. I had a read on various forums that sometimes creating white noise like a fan can help some people sleep. I hope it keeps working. Pink suits you
Have a great day.
Cheers
Steve

DARN! I had to enter a confirmation code to post. I wouldn't need to if I was signed in.

(Sorry, couldn't resist)

I've also noticed that you, unlike some, have a brain that works

Well, thanks! Sometimes I wonder...

You tend to bring out the sarcasm in me. I'm trying to keep it in check and be helpful though.

(I'm trying to come up with something at least slightly witty about doing both, being sarcastically helpful, but the well's dry at the moment )
