Hubby uses them, (Breathe Right strips), and swears by their effectiveness.
Unfortunately, they sometimes hurt his nose, so he has to stop and allow his "beak" to heal.
I use them with Zyrtek spray when a bad cold stops my nose up completely.

I was tempted, but, decided to bite my tongue instead.

Too easy, guys.
Avi is such a big target; and he moves so slow.

Has he tried the clear strips or the advanced strips? I had the same peeling problems with the tan cloth strips, different adhesive apparently.chunkyfrog wrote:Hubby uses them, (Breathe Right strips), and swears by their effectiveness.

He has tried a variety--all would hurt at some point.
The generics do not work, just so you know.

Re: Alternative to Breath Rite Strips?
ST, good question about where the evidence is for the claims of this company regarding this product. This obviously proves nothing but out of curiosity, I pulled my cheeks apart from my nostrils and my nasal breathing did seem improved. Who knows.
DS, even after my septoplasty last year, I was unable to wear nasal pillows and unfortunately, my nasal issues have gotten worse in spite of trying all the usual remedies like nasal rinsing. But I am happy for the folks for whom they work.
In response to the comments as to whether Breath Rite Strips are a scam, I definitely don't think they are. I would say when I wore them previously, they gave me moderate improvement with nasal congestion issues at night. Since I wasn't sure how much they were really helping, I have taken a break from wearing them as I wanted to try the nasal extender that I have a money back guarantee on. But I think they may be worth revisiting.
