This mask, imo, sucks. I have to get it really tight to get a good seal. I looked online for instructionAL videos, which I found, but I also came across a bunch of bad reviews.
Has anyone else had trouble with it? It seemed to fit ok at the office, but I find it very uncomfortable now.
I'm going to my supplier to try some other masks on Monday...
What masks should I request to try?

A lot of people, myself included, like the F&P Simplus. It seals well once you get the strap tension correct.

This: https://www.cpap.com/productpage/resmed ... dgear.html is the one that works well for me and many others. It all depends on facial "topography" whether a mask will work for you, or not. Good luck in your search.

Facial "topography", and 3-D imaging.
A size/shape matching system is so overdue;
and since the technology already exists, needing only a program,
THERE IS NO DAMN EXCUSE.
If I were a programmer, I would so do this--just to help.

Re: Resperonics AMARA GEL FFM
as an intellectual exercise, the problem I see with 3d imaging is that it doesn't take into account the sqidgyness of faces, as Julie likes point out to those having mask problems, the shape of your face changes due to gravity pulling on it differently when sitting and laying... (so it's better to fit the mask while laying down)...chunkyfrog wrote:Facial "topography", and 3-D imaging.

along the same lines, parts of the face will be firmer and parts softer, and 3d imaging won't be able to see beyond the surface, to the bone structure, and (possibly more importantly) the firmness of the tissues underlying the skin.
it's likely a good start, but not the whole answer, I'd think.
I did see something recently about some company working on 3d printed custom masks, though, so maybe there's hope
