sleep apnea/vitamin defecent

Just curious if once you got your sleep apnea under control did anyone find any underlying issues such as vitamin or mineral defecency ?

There are many factors that may contribute to sleep apnea, but It's unlikely that taking a vitamin or mineral supplement will "cure" sleep apnea.

fatigue, brain fog, lack of energy, maybe insomnia I am just curious because a guy I work with asked me if my doc did a blood test and that he had low b12 and cortisol and iron and said he thought it was from years of untreated apnea. My Doctor didn't order anything so I was just wondering

I had low B12 and low Vit D; this time around I'm again low Vit D, even though I've been taking D3 supplements. So now I have to take a course of these weird black gel D2 pills.

related to sleep apnea? no clue, but no good either. worth it to get your blood checked for these things next dr. appt.

Yes! For me, sleep apnea is only one piece of the health equation. I'm 100% compliant, my numbers are great, and I'm still tired.

I've spent a lot of time, energy, and money pursuing optimal health. I have an auto-immune situation and have devoted myself to improving my diet. This has helped tremendously.

I'm also pursuing blood work to look at hormones, adrenal function, vitamin levels, and infections.

So, correcting your vitamin intake to address any deficiencies won't do anything to improve your sleep apnea. But you might feel much better - more energy, less pain, less brain fog, possible improvement in the overall quality of your sleep.
