I was able to purchase a BiPAP machine from Greyghost and have been using it every night (except for one) for about a week. I am using the S9 Auto with the Pilairo Q. I've been having consistently low AHI (between 1-8), unfortunately still dealing with waking up throughout the night from discomfort and mouth breathing so haven't been able to really feel the benefits yet. I am committed to continuing to use my bi-level machine and hoping to reach a point of consistency.
My next step is to order a chin strap on Amazon. So far I like the Pilairo Q, and have spent some time learning to adjust the straps correctly and am feeling fairly comfortable with it now. I would prefer to stick with the nasal pillow for now, but if needed I will look into a full face or hybrid mask.
I have been adjusting my settings slightly as I go but just wanted to check in and see if you guys have any recommendations or see anything that I don't. I've tried a few humidity settings and they don't seem to vary my results much, but am sticking with a setting of 2.5 for now and planning on going from there. Thanks
