CPAP Machine Financial Help Needed
CPAP Machine Financial Help Needed
I've been on CPAP since 2006. In 2013 I became disabled and receive no disability and have no income. I receive help from family as they can. I have no insurance either now to cover a new machine since mine is so old it has died. Is there any places anyone is aware of that offers help getting a machine for someone who can't afford it? I've googled but not having much success with any of the suggestions they list.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: CPAP Machine Financial Help
Hi, have you looked on Secondwindcpap.com? Craig's list? Amazon sells masks in parts (like Cpap.com does) for which you don't need a script, just the knowledge of which parts you need (Cpap.com can help with that too). Have you been using an auto machine? If at all possible, go for one that doesn't have a 'Plus' or 'Escape' in the name because they'll never give you data that you could use with Sleepyhead software as we do - it's free, no problem there. And there are definitely people on the forum with machines, so come back often to your thread, bump if necessary, and see what turns up.

Re: CPAP Machine Financial Help Needed
Yes of course, but I thought it a good idea to at least put those out there anyway as alternatives to 'new', in case possibly a friend could help out, or ??
Re: CPAP Machine Financial Help Needed
This might not help you in the moment with your machine but have you applied for the ACA? You might possibly qualify for Medicaid in your state or a largely subsidized health insurance plan.daddyof7 wrote:I've been on CPAP since 2006. There's probably lots of State & Federal Govt. assistance available to you, if you can figure out where to find it. I imagine that there are numerous disability lawyers that will help you out. (for a fee) Good luck. https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=pu ... n+Oklahoma
