Way to access what dme sees wirelessly
My dme sucks. So I basically do all my changes and so on on my machine. I even order supplies from online. Anyway, is there a way to get the results wireless like the dme does via myAir. Like some secret website or code or something. Surely there is a way to access it other than having to use the SD card. Thanks. I have a airsense autoset 10

If you're not already using "Sleepyhead" software, get it and you'll see more than your DME does with MyAir.cpaptony wrote:My dme sucks. So I basically do all my changes and so on on my machine. Card readers are $10-$15....Most computers sold over the past several years have an SD card slot

If you even have a digital camera that takes an SD card, you can put the SD card in the camera, plug it in with the USB cable, and use the camera as an SD card reader.

Here are the best selling card readers on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Best-Sellers-Comp ... 48957011/r
The second and third most popular cost less than six dollars. The most popular one is still less than ten dollars.
I'm sure your local Best Buy will have some on the shelf but you may pay a few bucks more if it's not on sale.

Not so secret -- unless your DME expropriated the Resmed materials that came with your machine. MyAir is at https://myair.resmed.com You set up a username and password and enter your machine's serial number.cpaptony wrote:...like the dme does via myAir. Warning -- I sure hope that the MyAir user interface was designed and specified by people completely separate from the people who designed the machine algorithm. They "ding" you for each time your machine cycles off and on, calling it a "Mask off/on" even if it was a fraction of a second and you didn't take the mask off. At the same time they are utterly nonchalant about an AHI of 4.9 and a high leak rate. And they give you "badges" like you are in kindergarten. And riding the short bus to kindergarten, too -- you get a "gold badge" (I'm not making this up) for using the machine for at least 4 hours/night for at least 20 days out of 30. Mostly I find that this site just pisses me off. Oh, and breathlessly offer to post this on your Facebook feed for you. Really?!? Nothing beats being condescended to by morons!
Re: Way to access what dme sees wirelessly
I just checked out the web site and the "MyAir" looks interesting, but if it's all just namby pamby nonsense that gives you a gold star and a pat on the head for just reaching "Insurance Minimums" then that is very disappointing to hear.
If you could use it to say set your own goals that would be better. I would always use the sleepyhead software to see the details but to have a daily pop on my phone showing me at least my AHI would be nice - maybe it could help me work on regulating my sleep hygiene. Or give me something I could very easily look at to compare to when I have good days and bad days. Saving the really nitty gritty info for when I see an AHI I don't like or a reminder on a bad day to go and look at the real data.
I guess I'll have to wait and see what options are there when I get my machine.

I scroll to the sleep report menu, and write down the relevant numbers in a notebook.
Been doing it since July, 2010. I'm half way through my second notebook.
My doctors like it.

Re: Way to access what dme sees wirelessly
The only advantage of MyAir is that if I've been too lazy or busy to look at my data on the machine, an email will arrive after several nights of unacceptably high leaks telling me so. Like this morning. Now I have to try to determine if my leaks are from the mask or if I am opening my mouth during sleep.
