flashair card broadcasts only after power on/off my machine.

Post by Frankenfurn » Thu Mar 31, 2016 2:14 pm

Hi All,
I am only one month into CPAP therapy and am doing well. I have setup my machine with a flashair card and am using FlashPap to access and download my data. My card only broadcasts for a few minutes after I unplug and replug my machine. Is there a way to set it up so that it will always be on if that would not damage the card? Does everyone have to do this or is there another way to get the card to power on? I have tried google searching and can only find settings for how long the card will stay on. Thanks in advance.

I've never seen this problem with my card. I usually check my data anywhere from one to six hours after getting up, and it works fine. I also use FlashPap to access the card.

Growing old is mandatory, but growing up is optional.

It might be that it is timing out. BTW, just ejecting the card (don't really have take it out, just push it in until it releases and then push it back in to seat it again) and the timeout resets without having to restart the cpap machine. Unplugging it is really not a good way to do that.
Set the automatic time-out period for Wireless LAN functionality. Time is measured in milliseconds. The available values are from 60000 to 4294967294, with a default value of 300000.
Specify 0 to disable the automatic time-out.
Note: The card would stop ex. if the power supply to the card stops.

The newly set value will be stored in the APPAUTOTIME parameter in the CONFIG file

Thank you Krelvin, I got my husband to reconfigure the time and it works perfectly. I am still not doing well enough to not fear bricking something if I try it myself. Again, thank you so much.
