Sleepyhear install missinga .DLL

Post by racprops » Mon Mar 14, 2016 7:02 pm

Tried to install the latest sleepyhead for windows on a Win 7 Laptop.

But it keeps saying it is missing a MACVR120.DLL.

I tried downloading a copy only to end up with some 14 crappy little programs stuck on my system, and IF not for system restore I would still be trying to rip all those worms out.

So what do I have to do??

Thanks for your help.

Rich

If you get a message something like "MSVCR120.dll is missing," you need to install the "Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package" available at http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... x?id=40784

Explanation: Some versions of Windows do not have all the necessary files. These files need to be installed with Microsoft's installer, at the link above. The missing files may not always be "MSVCR120.dll", but it will be something similar starting with "MSV" and ending with ".dll".

Tried another Laptop, still will not run, different message but more or less the same: cannot run.

We need a update package for these problems.

This might be it, from another site:

Here is the Microsoft dll download as listed on the SleepyHead webpage See the link is at the top of this page for any additional information..

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downloa ... x?id=40784

Scroll done below the Windows 10 ad to get to the download area.

PS I did not get the newest on, I got 1010, not 1013.

These kinds of problems hurt my head. Mostly because once I solve a problem for myself, I delete and purge the trashcan of my brain. I tried to remember what I did when I had dll problems on my WIndows 7 laptop install. I want to say I ended up just searching for the newly installed MSVCR120.dll file and made sure it was in the WIndows/system32 and WIndows/SystemWoW64 and probably in that damn Steam apps common directory so kiddos can play games they were complaining about. I want to say the MS official install wasn't putting the files where I needed them so I just copied and pasted.

Also rebooted, because why not.

Well, You might try one of the other members. I'm out of answers. You can go back through Pugsy's post on the front page, but other than that, I got nothing. Sorry I couldn't help.

Thanks for tying...

It was just to show my new sleep Doctor and I did take the laptop in and showed him pictures of my sleepyhead reports, not that he was all that impressed with it of my problems..

BUT I have been asked to go back for the PFT and X-ray and to get a copy of my next blood work so at least he is on the case.

Thanks again for tying.

I hope your tests are favorable, sounds like your Doctor is focused on your welfare and overall health.

I did not feel that way in the face to face meeting..

He seemed in a rush.

But I am guessing he later looked over the charts and reports and felt I needed tests.

Face to face he did not seemed concerned about my high rate of breathing, even the reports of 50 (count them) per minute and my still high 18 to 30 BPM on other machines.

But I will see how things work out.

Thanks for caring.

Rich
