Adjusting Humidity Level- Resmed Airsense 10 autoset

Post by GeoffCos » Mon Mar 14, 2016 1:22 pm

I am a newbie to CPAP therapy and am having a hard time adjusting the Humidity level on my Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset.
My humidity level is set at a "factory" level of 4, and when I go to adjust the level (air hose unplugged) it does allow me to adjust it, but as soon as I plug in the air hose line the humidity level automatically adjusts back to the factory level setting of 4.
I wear a nasal mask and water droplets quickly form inside my mask and drip off the end of my nose. I'd like to lower the humidity level so there isn't water droplets causing annoying discomfort.

Anyone else have trouble with the factory settings automatically switching back??

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the auto climate control is on. It requires the heated tube which I think is why it defaults when you plug the hose in.

Try setting to manual climate control when the hose is still plugged in, then adjusting hose temp and humidity.

Why are you disconnecting the hose?
