Using Dreammapper--Want more detailed report

Post by Sierramar » Sun Mar 06, 2016 2:42 pm

Have Dreammapper. Gives basic info on my iPhone and Mac, however my provider and DME (Apria) can access more detailed information than I can. Yes, they will give me a print out, but Apria is 40 minutes away and only open for walk-ins on Wed morning.

Think they use Encore, but I notice that there are many versions of Encore. PLUS, I am a Mac user. My Dreamstation Auto CPAP has an SD card, however when I inserted it into my computer, it was gibberish. Obviously, the card needs some kind of application.

I want daily details so I can more clearly see my progress. I am new to this patient-support website, and am grateful for its existence. New CPAP user for one month. Simplus full-face mask gives me 100% function. Thanks for any help.

Developed on a MAC... stable version should be out soon. If you are technical, you can try one of the unstable versions and provide feedback.

You will be able to do charts like:

Current Settings PS 4.0 over 10.6-18.0 (cmH2O) - Resmed S9 VPAP Auto w/h5i Humidifier - Quattro Air FFM
TNET Sleep Resource Pages - CPAP Machine Database
Put your equip in your Signature - SleepyHead v1.0.0-beta-1

honestly, you don't need to be very technical, what jedimark likes to call unstable, companies like microsoft consider "GOLD, Release to manufacturing"

Thanks to Krelvin and Palerider-
The details on the MAC-friendly Sleephead are impressive. Right now I'll wait until the "finished" version. Then, will need directions about how to get information from the Dreamstation modem to the application.

Today (with help from this forum) I discovered the amazing Mark Watkins, aka Jedi Mark, developer of SleepyHead, a "free, cross-platform, open-source tracking software."

For those who are new, I suggest his FaceBook page:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/sleepyheadcpap/
and his website:
http://www.sleepfiles.com/SH2/ http://www.sleepfiles.com/SH2/
(where you can donate for his generous contributions)

Thank you, Mark!

Agree! I was nervous at installing the super scary unstable build, but not a bug to be found.

There's a few things on the bug list, one that was noted was that the events on the detail tab have GMT times instead of local times. and a few other nitpicky things... nothing major at all.

OK, I'm ready to give it a try! To be clear, I am using a Phillips Respironic Dreamstation Auto CPAP, a machine fairly new on the market. Is the present not-ready-for-prime-time Sleepy Head version (that you've suggested above) compatible with this machine?

IF SO, where do I find the application, and how do I install it? (I'm on a MacBook Pro 10.9.5)
