All...longtime lurker. A quick question. I have an S8 Elite II with 4i heated humidifier. I ALWAYS use the humidifier. However, in the interest of travel with the S8 only, I tried it without the humidifier. My F&P Zest Q was noticeably louder without the humidifier. What gives? Thought this would be a possible solution, but now I am not too sure.
Thank you in advance for your expertise!

Re: Mask very noisy without Humidifier
Humidifiers even without water in them do provide a sound dampening effect that reduces the sound generated by the internal blower. Have you tried using the humidifier without water in it?

the humidifier chamber often acts as somewhat of a muffler on many cpaps.sleepingwellUT wrote:All...longtime lurker. A quick question. I have an S8 Elite II with 4i heated humidifier.
