PR Algorithm

Post by Guest » Sun Jan 17, 2016 6:26 am

I am looking for people with Respironics Encore reports with high Large Leak Rates. During LL, pressure is reduced (if possible). It is said that events continue to be recorded. I have an Encore Report with a huge AHI but relatively few Event Flags. Is this by design? Does anyone have an Encore Report where Event Flags do not match AHI?

TIA.

Could you register and / or post an image of the LL part of the ENCORE report showing the graph in question?
It would help (perhaps) to know which PR system you are using.

Did you count the event flags in the waveform report to find the difference between the reported AHI (detailed report) and the counts shown? I have a couple of nights with LL over two hours but that do show some event flags during the LL period. The AHI number were in what I am experiencing as "normal for me" and not that different from other nights with little of no LL periods.

This observed phenomenon is from an M-Series APAP.

The Detailed Report of about 8 hours shows AHI ~26 with only ~30 events flagged.

To get a better answer, modify the subject line to include "M Series Auto"
My machine is a 60 series and the algorithms are very different from yours.

Please register so you can post an image of the report in question.
I am familiar with M series reports but I never have seen any with a high AHI with a large leak and not have the events shown on the events graph match up.
Never had prolonged large leak times.

I have seen reports with huge leaks (well over 100 L/min) and the pressure didn't respond correctly and event flagging didn't happen either during the time of large leak.
