Any mail order cpap supply companies that accept insurance?
I really want to order the Dream Wear mask. I used last night during my sleep study and loved it! I usually use Apria but they tell me it will be 6 to 8 weeks and I really need a new mask. I have a ppo plan, not medicare.

You would have to ask your insurance company if they have approved online suppliers. They determine who they cover.

You need to run it by the INSURANCE COMPANY. They are the only ones who know.

Will your insurance reimburse you if you order one and pay out of pocket? That's something to ask them as well.
Mayo Clinic Rochester's CPAP store has a catalog you could order from and they would probably take your insurance once they have a copy of your RX that you could fax or mail to them ... I don't have their number offhand, but I could get it if you want it. That's where I get the supplies I don't order from cpap.com. PM me if you want the info

It might be worth it to just buy one ourself ( call our sponsors for their price) and then, get the one through your DME when they can get it to you. That way you will have an extra, just in case. I often do this with a newly available mask that I think I might like. In fact just did it with the DreamWear - and I do like it so will use it when my nose is sore from a cold - like now. I wasn't due a new mask through my DME and I needed this now. Worth it to me.

Online stores generally do not take insurance. That is why they can offer lower prices - they don't have to deal with contracts and stuff. They will provide you with a form that you can submit to your insurance company, along with the invoice, to see if you can be reimbursed.kcl wrote:I really want to order the Dream Wear mask. Thanks for the help. I know to check with insurance, but it is super helpful to find out if people have dealt with online companies. That is why I asked, not because I didn't know. So thanks to those who provide that kind of info I have found a local company that has them, now just have to wait for my sleep study to be read and updated.
