Hi everyone,

I'm new user of SleepyHead program and try to import data from Memory Card. I see in the debug mode of the program that it's try to take data from L:/ instead of L:\ for windows computer. I think the developper work usualy with Unix system so he make a error in his development.

Maybe some one can repport this, because I need this program...

Thank a lots

It would be better if you started your own thread about your SleepyHead issues so that it won't get lost in this thread.
That way you can get the specific attention you might need and the developer of SH has a greater chance in seeing it.
He doesn't monitor my little thread at all.
Be sure to include all your computer specs so they know what you are using.

I am using a Windows computer Win 7...64 bit and I import just fine every day with the way SH is written.
If you are having problems and have a Windows computer...we need more information because it will work just fine as it is now written.

I just installed the Sleepyhead for Linux (Ubuntu 64bit). It installed fine and started up. When I go to download my data It shows the Brand (Philips Respironics) Model (System One RemStar Auto with A-Flex (560P)
Serial # (P11...) But it says No CPAP Machine Data Imported.

I pointed to the root of the SD Card and thats where it found the model data but no actual working data at all.

I then installed the encorebasic for windows and it worked fine. Showed all the graphs and all.

I would much rather use Linux as that is my personal Laptop. My windows machine is my work computer which I really shouldn't be using. Not that this is a big deal but just thought maybe someone would have an idea or the developer would want to know. It is have great having that data readily available just being to see the data and showing the machine is working well is a great feeling...

Thanks

I am assuming that you used the Mac version of SleepyHead??? Not the Windows version?
Which version did you get?

I don't know anything about Linux but it sounds like you need the Patch file for 60 series machines.

If you got Jimbos Mac build..you need the Patch
viewtopic/t83551/SleepyHead-Series-60-Patch-Avail.html and it's on page 3 I think.

Windows users no longer have to do the Patch thing as the latest SleepyHead includes it.

If it were me I and I wanted to use the Mac then I would go to the unstable builds and get the Mac version there as it also includes the Patch file. Despite the name...it is quite stable.

There may not be one for the Linux version.

SleepyHead originally was designed before the 60 series machines were ever released. When the 60 series machines first came out SleepyHead wouldn't work with them...so finally the Patch file was done for Windows and then for Mac version...I don't think anyone ever did a Patch file for the Linux version because it wasn't something that the masses used.

So sorry...but that's likely why SleepyHead can't find anything on your SD card but Model name and number. You need a special Patch file for the Linux version and there isn't one.

Sounds like you either download the wrong thing or got a bad download.
What version did you download?

Can you please start your own thread totally devoted to your problem so it gets the attention it deserves?
Include which SleepyHead version to tried to download and use along with your Windows 8.0 information.
I am not familiar with Windows 8.0 and I don't use 7 zip either.
Did you get the message after you did the "extract all" to unzip?

I am having trouble downloading Sleepyhead on my computer. I have downloaded a lot of stuff but cant open anything. I am embarrassed to say I am computer illiterate somewhat. I can follow very specific instructions, but am doing something wrong. I have Windows 7 on 64 bit operating system. I apologize in advance for probably not doing something very simple. I use a Resmed Air sense 10 auto and the info I get from them is very limited. I used to use Respironics M series and used the Encore program, but that machine was worn out and I am liking the new Resmed, but would like to see the reports. I also have a Devillbis Intellipap I use for travel and I think if I ever get this program downloaded properly, I should be able to use on either. Thank you in advance for any help in downloading Sleepyhead.

What problem are you having? The actual download or install or opening?
See if this helps
https://sleep.tnet.com/resources/sleepyhead
If it doesn't and you still are having trouble could you maybe start a new thread of your own an then everyone could maybe help and you will get more responses than you will buried in this thread.
If you do...explain in detail at which point you are stumped.
This latest SH version does work well on Windows 7 64 bit systems..that's what I have on this computer.

Has anyone run into this? I've tried installing SH several times on my sons PC. Each time I get this:

The program can't start because MSVCR120.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

It needs a file that is not on some computers. Here is the link https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/downloa ... x?id=40784
If you have a 64 bit computer choose the middle file. Once it is downloaded that is all you have to do.
