How about a sleep study first?

The way you phrase your question makes it hard to know if you're saying you don't have apnea but want to know if a cpap might still help, or think you might have it though you haven't yet received a diagnosis, and want to know if a cpap might help.

cpap is going to provide 0 benefit if you don't have sleep apnea, because in that case there is nothing for it to fix. But for those that do it may well help get an effective nights sleep. If you never wake up refreshed or get an effective nights sleep, you should see if you have any other symptoms of apnea and if you do should see a doctor and request a sleep study. Not sleeping well or feeling refreshed is one of the most common symptoms that people write off without realizing that apnea is the cause. Of course other things can cause it to, but apnea is one of the big ones.

Rarely. Maybe 2-3 days a months. Its a miserable existence, hopefully not a long one.

Get a sleep study; you can do it at home. For me, I'm better with it than without, but like I said above, I feel bad most days, so the therapy is moderately successful. Its worth trying; some people do well with it, so maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones.
