Dreamwear Nasal Machine Setting
Dreamwear Nasal Machine Setting
Loving this mask. It seems pretty unique, though. I'm not sure what to set the machine mask type as? I think of nasal masks as being masks, with a rim that surrounds the nose. The shape of this, and the way it directs air right to the nostrils, seems more like a nasal pillow. I was using the P10, before this, so I had my machine set for nasal pillow. I went right back to the air hunger issues I had when starting at a pressure of 4. I switched the machine to "nasal mask" mode, and that seems more comfortable. Anyone have any legit info on this?

Re: Dreamwear Nasal Machine Setting
I think I may need an increase in my lower pressure with this mask as my results are not quite as good as they were with a couple of other masks (still "reasonably good" according to SH but not quite as good as I'd like). But I love this mask and find I have little to no leaks at all with it and it is definitely plus for me for maintaining compliance. I'd rather have the higher pressure with a more comfortable mask. My doc is terrific about wanting to do whatever will help me maintain compliance so I'm sure she is going to work with me on this.
