Dreamstation - EncorePro

Post by wilsodt » Thu Dec 10, 2015 11:27 am

My lady friend has been using a Dreamstation Auto for a couple weeks. Her AHI has not been below double digits any night so far. I was hoping someone could direct me to EncorePro to determine a starting point for adjustments. She is using a Resmed nasal pillow mask and has been changing sizes trying to determine the best fit. Any help is appreciated.

This is a good thing you are trying to do.

Sorry, I can't help with Encore, but wanted to bump this to the top in hopes someone can help.

Best of luck,

OP has already been helped. I lost internet right when I was going to post here and then forgot once I got back online.

There is a version of Encore Pro that was just recently released that will work with the DreamStation machines. I have tried it and verified that it works.
It's Pro...and the usual PITA but it can be managed with a lot of patience.

I don't have time right now to do any hand holding with the install or use. Maybe after I get back from visiting the grandson after Christmas I will compose some general hints to help with using it if there appears to be a great need.

Thanks to both OPs. I have a fussy older laptop at home & finally got it installed last night. I will try to explore this weekend and report my findings or difficulties in case others can benefit.

I assume this is version 2.18. It is posted on Apneaboard now as well. http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread ... -Available
