Any of you guys who hate this thing ever used one?

All I know is, there's a sweet freshness to my mask and hose every night. Maybe others here are fine with a stale smell and the high risk of tuberculosis, pox and black plague that comes with not using this device!
No never used one, checked my check book, the money's still there. I don't have any of those diseases in my home, if I did I would spend my money on a mover. I have had a plague shot, I don't know what color 1965. I never meant anyone coming down those diseases from a xpap mask.

It would be good scare tactics for advertising. Jim

Nope! But then I picked up this thing as a kid (no, not Bubonic Plague): It's called "learning lessons from others" and not making their same mistakes. I think it''s taught in almost all school districts and homes across the USA these days. That being said, I'm glad someone responding to this post is happy with their SoClean - even if it is an expensive deodorizer and 'wooby' blanket.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

Interesting, sir Noddinoff: what I learned as a kid was deciding things for myself based on experience rather than running with the crowd. I've always loved the ironic Marx Brothers joke, where Groucho tells a woman he's trying to gull:"who are you going to believe, me or your own lyin' eyes?"

Not by me! I really do like my SoClean machine, seriously, and I wanted any others who might read this thread to know that there's at least one person who does. You guys are pretty aggressive in your denunciations, on principle if not experience, and even in messing with your opinions of my character because I disagree, but who cares, it's all in fun, right? I think that it's great that you all voice your opinions on this machine! I did too. Vive la difference!

Why on earth would anyone use one if they despise them? Just to try it out so they could say they are a smart fellow and not a phart smeller?

I don't really want to enter the dabate, rather to tell of my experience dealing with this company. Been a few years now, Wifey & I were staying with mother in a Senior Community Center. I purchased the first model SoClean black box to sanitize my mask. Mother passed, we moved back into our home. Setting up my CPAP station I couldn't find the power supply for the SoClean machine. Emailed the company to ask what another would cost. . .They said they would send me another for FREE and they did. I've never had any other company do this. Just sayin.

Cheers,
otrpu

Good to hear, but some of their marketing statements are off-putting. {like claiming to "clean", which it cannot}
Certain wavelengths of UV light can be effective to kill microbes, BUT without actually removing soil or grease.
My Dry and Store unit "conditions" my hearing aid overnight, using moving warm air, a block of desiccant,
and a UV light, which runs for the first few minutes of each 8-hour cycle. It is still necessary to brush soil
from the aid and dome with a soft brush, but it is not possible to wet clean it like we can our masks, etc.
If germs were a major concern for me, I might consider such a device for my cpap use,
but conventional cleaning is totally sufficient for me.
